HELLO THERE!
My name is Bekah Hussung and this is my first year at North Harrison Middle School. I am really excited for this upcoming year, and to meet all my wonderful students and their family. I hope that they get the chance to really appreciate the arts and find their inner creativeness.
A little more about me is that I graduated from Floyd Central in 2010. I then went on to get my Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Southeast in Fine Arts with a concentration in Drawing. I worked about a year at the Courier Journal, designing their newspaper. I knew that my passion was to teach art, so I moved on from designing to be an assistant teacher at Corydon Central High School. I fell in love with teaching, and decided to back to school at IUS to get my transition to teaching certificate. I did my student teaching at Lanesville Elementary in the 6th grade classroom. I just finished in March of this year, and was so excited to accept the art teaching position here at NHMS.
